Hi!
I’m Sean, a holistic nutrition professional, storyteller, and fierce believer in the power of food as medicine. For over 20 years, I’ve happily drifted between the worlds of writing and the food industry. I’ve managed everything from bustling cafes and bars to food inventory for high-end grocers, while simultaneously creating content for small businesses with truly enthusiastic visions. All my experiences have been driven by good intentions, good conversations and oftentimes good food!

My journey to becoming a nutrition consultant didn’t happen overnight. It’s rooted in my own story—a life filled with significant health challenges that the traditional medical system only seemed to complicate and cause more harm than healing. Instead of giving up, I persistently explored alternative solutions discovering that the answers were always within me. Through the power of nutrition and lifestyle shifts, and with the guidance of many healing mentors and professionals, I have found a way to navigate life with a foundation that actually feels solid.
I believe that each of us is a unique being and that we all have the power to feel good already inside us. My philosophy is simple: take care of yourself the way nature intended, and you’ll not only heal your body but help heal the planet too. My intention is to be curious in every conversation and my passion is to guide others on a path that feels true to who they are, and who they know they can or want to be. My approach is anchored by a strong focus on bioindividuality, holistic health, accessibility and sustainability.
In my personal life, I’m a minimalist and a practicing Buddhist with a big heart for the health of our environment and the communities we live in. I lived in a custom-built tiny house for many years with my daughter. My kiddo and I now live in a shared home with another family on the unceded ancestral homeland of the Chochenyo-speaking Ohlone people, specifically within the historic territory known as xučyun (Huichin), commonly known today as El Cerrito, California. This wonderful space surrounded by nature inspires my search for my own piece of land to start building sustainable, eco-friendly structures to live and work from.
I’m a passionate person inspired by making food for others, traveling the world, and being an open-hearted parent and community member. I am transgender, care deeply about my family, the environment, gender expression, freedom for all, and being of service to others. The services I offer—whether virtual group classes, one-on-one consultations, or content that shares ideas and knowledge—are all driven by the desire to empower others to take control of their own health, so they can feel vibrant and alive.
